Shana Renee Stephenson is a Sports Culture Analyst with an astute awareness of how sports, pop culture, and the language of today’s athletes intersect. She’s a true sports-minded woman representing the future of the game – knowledgeable, ever-evolving and not easily defined.
A former ESPN marketing professional and Madison Square Garden marketing consultant, Shana Renee has a passion for storytelling – adding a unique perspective, relatable relevance and necessary voice to traditionally male-driven sports community. With more than a decade of sports industry experience, her keen knowledge of sports and strong point of view inspired Shana Renee’s All Sports Everything, a New York centric sports blog with a range of lifestyle, news and other sports-relevant content. Additionally, Shana Renee is the co-founder of THE MAJORS, a movement celebrating young-ish influencers of color, sports business’ unsung architects of dope.
Shana Renee’s features include BlackEnterprise.com, Essence.com, MSNBC.com, Refinery29, and the Melissa Harris-Perry Show. She currently contributes to espnW weekly and is a New York University adjunct instructor.
Shana Renee earned a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Spelman College and a Masters in Sports Business from New York University.
