HE GOT NEXT: Lil’ CP3’s got serious golf and basketball skills

During a recent interview with Mary Carillo of HBO’s Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel, Clippers’ guard Chris Paul discussed his upbringing and the emphasis his parents placed on family values.  As Paul’s matured into the role of father and husband, it’s obvious his parents taught him well.  Whenever Paul, father to son Chris Paul II (Lil’ CP3) and daughter Camryn Alexis Paul, makes a move off the court, his four-year-old son is never far behind.

Watch this clip of father and son as they spend quality time on the links and basketball court.

Spoiler Alert:  Lil’ CP3’s poise and golf and ballhandling skills are exactly what you’d expect from the offspring of one of the NBA’s top point guards.

As for Paul’s talk of early retirement, that’s something I’m not even prepared to consider.  But if the 28 year-old decides to pull a Barry Sanders, at least we know the future of the game is in good hands with one of 2028’s biggest prospects, should Lil’ CP3 choose to follow in his dad’s footsteps.
